It was great to be part of Anna and Richard’s big day, a traditional and symbolically rich wedding ceremony. The Coptic Wedding Crowns symbolize rulers of the household, anointing with Holy Oil symbolizes spiritual protection for the bride and groom, lighted candles symbolize the light of Christ etc. It was a wonderful event and I was fascinated by the crowns, capes, lavishly embroidered garments, jewellery… Going to a Coptic Christian wedding was nothing like what I’ve seen before.
A great photo shoot of the couple at the Intercontinental Hotel Greenwich followed the religious ceremony. They both looked so GLAMOROUS….
